On Tuesday the 2nd of October 2007 I flew Mission 2265, making it my 73rdAngel Flight.
The mission description from Angel Flight was:
INITIAL TRIP REQUEST:
A 4 year old boy from Roma has severe global developmental delay.
He is required to attend appointments in Brisbane to investigate the health and function of his current PEG (feeding tube) and whether surgery is required to resize.
Due to this condition the trip by road would prove to be too much for this child.
Archerfield to Roma
The weather was perfect and we had not trouble at all heading west. Young Tristan fell asleep soon after take off and only woke up as
we neared Roma.
In the mean time his mum Marie and I had a little chat.
A little short of two hours later we touched down and taxied toward the terminal building, where Tristan's siblings and dad were
keenly waiting for us.
Roma to Archerfield
Having disembarked Tristan and Marie , unloaded the booster chair and posed for the obligatory photos, I started up and had and uneventful
flight back home.
Summary
I was back on the ground in Archerfield after having
spent 3 hours and 48 minutes in the air and taxiing
