Mission 2825 - Archerfield to Theodore

Background

On Tuesday the 29th of April 2008 I flew Mission 2825, making it my 93rd Angel Flight.

The mission descriptions from Angel Flight was:

A 52 year old lady from Theodore has Coronary Heart Disease and is required to have replacement and by pass surgery.

Due to this condition travel by road would be extremely tiring and not desirable.

Archerfield to Theodore

Earth Angel Rod Sherman was on his maiden mission and not used to hospitals sending you hither and thither before finally meeting up with Anne. When he arrived at Archerfield, he pulled up to the airside gate and waited for me. I, in the meantime was waiting for them 5m, just around the corner. Anne was soon snoozing as I looked after the engine and tried to keep us going in the general direction of Theodore.

After a little over one and a half hours we alighted at Theodore. I was surprised to have one of my previous passengers Allan there to greet us. Theodore, being a small town, has everyone helping everyone else!

Summary

I was back on the ground in Archerfield after having
