The mission descriptions from Angel Flight was:
SUBSEQUENT TRIP REQUEST (13th and 14th Flights):I had flown Caleb and his family on the return of their maiden mission in April 2007A six year old boy from Calliope (Gladstone) has Congenital Cataracts and Glaucoma. He requires a three monthly review with a specialist in Brisbane.
The plane having had some major surgery that had kept it out of action, this was my first Angel Flight in almost two months - it almost felt like my Maiden flight all over again.
The trip up was in beautiful sunshine with just a little haze to contend with. I passed Calliope, my passengers' home town as I descended into nearby Gladstone
The only problem was getting my passengers out of the terminal building airside. With the minor side-effect of triggering a security alarm this was quickly achieved.
Caleb's sister Shakayla took honours in the back row, while Caleb and his mum Kim occupied the middle seats. Jason joined me in the front.
Having everyone settled in we were soon on our way, heading back south. Caleb was dozing, while Shakayla was doing the same in the back.
We arrived back in Archerfield a little over an hour and a half later.
Earth Angel Dan Kennedy was already waiting, so little time was wasted getting my precious cargo off on their next leg to the doctor.
