INITIAL TRIP REQUEST:This is a frail but ambulatory lady pensioner who recently undergone substantial hospital treatment for cancer, and more recently lost the sight in one eye. She is required to attend ongoing visits to the Mater Hospital Eye Clinic to attempt to preserve the sight in her other eye. She has minimal family support, and her only option at this point is to catch a bus to Brisbane which would also necessitate two nights accommodation, due to the bus timetable not fitting around her appointment times. She travels with a carer.
