SUBSEQUENT TRIP REQUEST:After a long struggle to get home last week this gentleman has been called straight back for a biopsy. He was initially diagnosed with cancer of the throat which resulted in a double laryngectomy.
His health is suffering from the long car journeys from Warialda to Brisbane for specialised treatment. Public transport is too difficult for him due to his inability to talk and interact verbally. All this has left the patient financially disadvantaged and in poor health.
